California Wet Burrito

Loved the wet burritos here and especially the non-spicy tomatillo sauce. The portion size is huge! I saved half of mine for the next day. They have quite some options on the menu you can customize to how you want such as type of meat and which sauce you’d like. Didn’t know there are half/half sauce options but would be down to try some of the others. The chips were also made fresh when we got our order and were so addictive! Our food took about 15 minutes from order till it was brought out to us. You can do takeout options as well. The seating was outdoors and had very cute decor!

The cashier/host was doing her best answering all my questions, despite answering what seemed like a less than agreeable phone call that she had to take from someone, presumably them canceling their order after it was already prepared. Guys, please be considerate with small businesses because even before Covid it wasn’t easy! My burrito was so so good! Fresh quality ingredients and the size was more than feeling. The chipotle sauce was rich and creamy and pleasantly fully plant-based! Their patio area is really nice for hanging out!

Super cute outdoor patio with a great college student vibe. Workers were really nice, had an amazing wet burrito here. Got half non-spicy tomatillo and half chipotle sauce. I'm no burrito expert, but it's definitely the tastiest burrito I've eaten in San Jose! Tacos were good too, the al pastor was so flavorful. I'd get it as my meat of choice next time.
